Reproducible, scalable, stable, and transparent conductive CNT/ITO@Au nanoparticle thin film on PDMS sheet has been prepared by facile, cost effective layer by layer coating method. Herein, the electrical conductivity of thin film was significantly improved by a novel chemical reduction approach without using any reducing gas, inner atmosphere and high temperature annealing. Specifically, the chemical reduction time and concentration of reducing agent dependent analysis shows the substantial decrease in the sheet resistance owing to the enhanced oxygen vacancy in the ITO@Au nanoparticle, which was confirmed by the XPS analysis and effect reflect on electrical properties. Moreover, the prepared films show low resistivity as well as sheet resistance amid all the sol-gel and spin coating process thin films testified to date. In a word, this chemical reduction approach is useful for fundamental interest in upcoming ultra-efficient, transparent conductive device fabrication, small metabolites detection, and humidity sensor applications.
