Master course student Hyun, minji (Professor : Kim Jungwon) selected as CLEO 2019 Chairs' Pick
A paper presented by Hyun minji at the Conference on Lasers and Electro Optics (CLEO) 2019, held in San Jose, USA, on May 5-10, 2019, was selected as a Chairs' Pick paper
CLEO is one of the largest and most prestigious conferences in the field of optics and lasers, attended by more than 4,000 people every year. Among the 1505 papers selected by CLEO this year, the papers of Hyun Min-ji students were selected as one of the 51 Chairs' Pick theses that received the highest score from the judging panel. The Chairs' Pick thesis had a 30 minute presentation time, especially invited talk, and the presentation paper of the students of the prefecture received much attention in the field of optical metrology.
This paper shows that photocurrent pulses can be generated with a time error of less than 100 atosos (one second of one minute) from an optical pulse having a very short time width. (TOF) sensors and imaging, low-noise microwave sources, and high-performance clock distribution within computer chips. This research was supported by the ICT program of Samsung Future Technology Development Center.
